A. - No! Acupuncture also treats the underlying cause of disease, not only the symptoms. When the cause of the problem is corrected, the results can be long-lasting or permanent.

 

Q. - How Many Treatments Will I Need?
A. - The number of treatments varies widely according to the condition. Usually 1-2 treatments per week are recommended. Chronic illnesses require treatment for several weeks or longer. Acute problems generally respond much faster. Occaisional treatments throughout the year are usually sufficient to maintain good health.

 

Q. - How Long Does A Treatment Last?
A. - It may last from a few minutes to over one hour.

 

Q. - Can I Feel The Needles?
A. - There is little or no pain since acupuncture needles are very thin. There may be mild discomfort with insertion, but once they are in place, the patient usually does not notice them and feels very relaxed.

A. - They are disposed off after each treatment.
